Holy shit...

was watching tv just now in the hall... den wandered into the yard for a look see. my mom told me that the dryer and washing machine suddenly stopped working. so i went to check.. and detected a burnt smell!! like got plastics melt lidat. the only thing that will melt there is the plug or fuse, so i pulled it out...


looks like any other ordinary multiple plug.. can plug 3 appliance into it right?


this is wad happened to it after the melt down.. one pin totally melted away... and the fuse went with it..


had to use a pair of pliers to pull this out of the socket...


the fuse is 'fused' to the plug le..

i think the plug overheated due to the fact that both the machine and dryer are high voltage equipment.. and it has something to do with the I²R heating effect? lol.. tomorrow ask Mr Chang..
