prawn fishing...

went to pasir ris park to do prawn fishing with ronald... very expensive... $14.50 per hr. buy 3 hours get 1 free... initially we wanted to buy 3 and get the 4th hr free, but we weren't sure we could last so long.. so we paid for 2 hrs first. the uncle gave us 1 cup of bait... wanna guess wad is it? chopped up fish cake la. den we put on the hook and throw into the pond...

i think this has a lot to do with luck... got one lot of lians and bengs at the next pond over kept catching the prawns... so lucky la... den we sit there for 3 hrs... kena sun burn and all only got 3 prawns... very sad....


can see the 3 prawns in the net thingy dat the uncle give us to put the prawn in... only 3 nia... very pathetic..


the first prawn dat we caught... missing one pincer cos we swing the prawn around too much when we fished it out and the arm fell off...


all 3 prawns that we caught lined up on the pavement... the second one is the smallest...

all the prawns we put into 4 or 5 plastic bags and ronald bring home, since hw was going straight home and i was going to suntec... den later the told me that all 3 of the prawns died when he got home... next time we go must bring foam box and portable air pump...
