went for 2 periods of tamil lessons yesterday... as we had taken our Ao levels chinese, we din really have anything to learn these 2 months b4 the results are out... as such, we have only 4 lessons per week. these 4 lessons are spilt up into 2 chinese lessons on monday and 2 other language lessons on thursday. we had a choice of malay or tamil. since the whole class wanted to sign up for tamil, i tagged along...
was rather surprised that the class was full. was expecting the class to be half empty, with the rest of the students learning malay or chinese...
the teacher was very nice la, very patient and i think he really wanted us to pick up something, rather than just to pass the time.
here's the handout that he gave us... it's half completed as he din want to go on for fear that we won't be able to absorb...
besides, by the end of the 1st period, half the class was not interested already. haiz... whether is wasting time or not is another issue. what matters is that we can learn something new during this time. its not as if the school will let us home early if we find that this is time wasting. they'll still want us to stay in sch till the day is over.
i find that the lessons is ok la, just have to be very careful with the pronounciation of the words as each syllable has to be enounciated clearly and they speak damn fast la... like machine gun lidat... lol...
today it rained like mad... morning rain, now also rain. rain non stop... then hisham cancelled the training cos he had something on... @#$!@# make me stay back for nothing...
then had to walk out to the opposite bus stop to take bus... was sharing an umbrella with sheila, the yr 1. when we reached the bus stop, my shirt was half wet and the back was also wet... then the shirt will stick to the body one... very uncomfortable..
